Meet The Team

Dr. Cliff Morris
Dr. Cliff Morris is a double board-certified cardiologist and lifestyle medicine specialist who has spent his career redefining how we approach heart health and healing. After founding the Morris Cardiovascular and Risk Reduction Center in 2011, he began pioneering new models of care—rooted not only in medicine but in movement, community, and purpose. A former UNC basketball player alongside teammates like Michael Jordan and Kenny Smith, Dr. Morris brings that same team-first mindset into everything he does.
In 2023, he was honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his decades-long commitment to advancing health through service, compassion, and innovation. Today, as Director of the Blue Zone Hopewell movement, his passion is to create spaces where people feel inspired, and empowered, to make healthier choices more accessible for everyone. His work gently invites all of us to imagine what’s possible when health becomes a shared journey, not just a personal goal.
